The Lost Lily
A priest prays for a woman he once loved, hoping to bring her back from the darkness. But he becomes trapped in a surreal nightmare. When familiar methods fail, he makes a desperate choice - one that leads to an even deeper descent.
Told without dialogue, The Lost Lily relies on visual language and atmosphere to unfold a dark mystery. Its dreamlike world invites the viewer into a space where fear and memory blur, and every image carries a sense of hidden meaning beneath the surface.

Sergey Alarsky is a filmmaker and writer, born in the former USSR, with a background in the game industry. His first film, The Lost Lily, explores the edges of consciousness and reality through unconventional narrative.
Raised in a rural family, Alarsky turned to self-education early on, drawn to philosophy, psychology, and overlooked layers of history. He also practices lucid dreaming and meditation, which continue to inform his creative vision.
In 2025, he turned to filmmaking as a natural extension of his work as a creative director, drawn to creating atmospheric and offbeat worlds.
The film is entirely handcrafted and inspired by twentieth-century cinema. Its story is simple, yet open to personal interpretation. As this is my first film, I worked across writing, directing, producing, editing, and sound to better understand the medium. The entire production — from concept to final cut — was completed in just two months, with only 3 tightly planned shooting days, completed without overtime. The project was fully self-funded, with a small crew and a cast of talented acting school graduates.
