The Lone Creative

In the near future, the world has been swept away by artificial intelligence. It affects every aspect of life, except it's optional.

The Lone Creative follows an artistic traveller who is one of, if not the last person on Earth to go about her life without technological aid unless absolutely necessary. The short film follows her journey through the fields of Iowa and to Des Moines, hoping to find food and a place to rest before doing it all over again.

Writer Statement

Being such a creative person in a small town means having limitations, which is hard, but I think writing changed all of that for me. During the pandemic, it was one of my few escapes when I felt that I couldn't get out of the house. I'm truly grateful to have been able to improve my writing skills and teaching myself how to screenwrite.
