Director Statement

"The Life We Learn With" is my own coming of age story. Little did I realize in the late winter of 1984, that the production of my fourth film project at Keene State College, "Just You and Me", would turn out to be a life changing experience. Working under the hands-on guidance of my friend and mentor Robert Gunther, and falling in love for the first time with my friend, and the female lead in my film, Lovel Richardson, elevated this little film project to one of the most memorable experiences of my life. I hope you enjoy "The Life We Learn With", a narrative documentary that tells the story of a young student filmmaker who for the first time in his life was able to touch his dreams.
