Director Biography - Justin Brewster

Justin Brewster is a Melbourne-based filmmaker and has worked on numerous short films, music videos, series and advertisements. In 2016, Brewster's biggest project to date began with the independently-produced debut feature film 'Drifter'. It premiered in 2023 and is currently making the festival rounds. Cultivating a directing style rooted in improvisation while delving into the complexities of characters and exploring the depths of the human experience, Brewster fearlessly tackles challenging subjects with empathy and understanding, painting intricate narratives that provoke introspection and resonate with audiences.
