The stories, "The Last Vampyr", "King of Terror" and the poetry collections - "Embrace the Darkness" and "Blood Soaked Moon" to name a few. He also scored a couple of independent films. Mark enjoys history, reading, writing music, watching Sherlock Holmes, Expedition Unknown, and Murder Mysteries. He loves classic horror movies and things that go bump in the night. He also stared in the local films "Demon Messenger" (2013) and "House on Ghost Hill Road" from I Am Horror Productions.
I am a huge fan of silent and classic horror films. Something about the music, the shadows, reactions and bits of humor that made them fun. I remember as a kid my parents would drop my brother and I off at the theater and we would be there all day! We would have a blast! Watching serials, cartoons and horror movies. And it was what we didn't see that made our imagination go off. Something I feel is lost in a lot of modern horror.
With these series of short films, we wanted to do some original programming for our Halloween specials instead of showing highlights of events that already happened.
In this continuing Saga to "Into The Arms of Death", "Curse of the Vampire", "Batille De Sang", "Portrait of a Monstrous Soul" & "The Last Rites of Dr. Van Helsing" I wanted to stay true to the silent film standards but add a touch of a "Hammer" pace and feel to it every now and then.
These are not meant to be taken seriously. They're just meant to be fun. So sit back, grab your favorite corpse and a pint of blood... let your imagination take you back to another place and time and enjoy!
