Adam has had an unconventional path through life, from small-town trans kid who joined the British Army to "learn to be a man" to British Army Special OP soldier, to industrial climber, to security for the music industry to ER nurse, and many things in between. He's lived and worked all over the world, both as a soldier and later doing humanitarian aid work. He's been homeless and has dined with royalty, known love and losses, faced demons and angels and come out the other side, but still sees life as a work in progress.
My philosophy in life has always been "Leave the world better for having had me in it." I don't have control over much in life, but this one thing is something I can control, in every interaction and decision. It also guides my writing. I feel film has the same power as books to allow people to live a thousand lives and see things from another perspective, even if just for entertainment or as an escape from reality. So in every scene I write I hope that it might make the world a little better, if even for one person.
