Director Biography - Matan Tal

Matan Tal is an Israeli-born filmmaker and screenwriter. He started his way as a writer, when he published his first book at age 11 (in Be'er Publishing House). While in Film school, he led a mutiny that managed to changed the structure of the film department. Among his film are "Medea" (2018) & "The Same Snowy Ground" (2020). He's been living in Berlin, Germany since 2018.
In 2019, he was named one of the "Top 10 Berlin Filmmakers to keep an eye on" by Raindance Film Festival.
