This movie plot is based on Guru Sahib Doctrine " Manas Ki jaat".
The movie starts with a conversation between two old friends. Whos names are Surjit Singh & Harnam Singh. Surjeet Singh is reading the newspaper and Harnam Singh is talking on the mobile. Surjit Singh is very sad to read the newspaper and tells his friend Harnam Singh that the president of the gurdwara has removed Granthi Singh just because he sings the Shabad of Guru Ravidas Ji. But Harnam Singh tries to change the thing that does not focus more on this, but Surjit Singh remains worried about the same thing. Harnam Singh speaks in a joke and says that you have read so much, now you have to get rid of knowledge. Then he said, I did double MA. and also would like to do Ph.D. on Jatt castes, even I am also Jatt, and he tells the whole story about himself, that why he would like to become a Jatt (High-Caste) to Chamar ( Low-Caste). He tells him how people treat him when he was Chamar and why he tells to all that he is Jatt. He tells him about his childhood time and young life, that when telling a lie the first time. Then he tells him his whole story about himself.

First, he tells about a college friend, when he had spoken the first lie that he is Jatt. He goes to his childhood in his past and thinks how the school's master and children behave with him. Then hi came back to present time when his friend again ask about his father then he tell them my father is Jatt and he is zimidar.

Ater that all, Surjit tell to Harnam Singh that when he
Came to Sikander Singh to doing Ph.D., who was the most intelligent professor in his Village. But he makes me mad in a few days. Prof. Sikandar Singh friend Makhan Singh tells me that you waste your time with Sikandar Singh. He just uses you as a servant, Will does not teach you, because he's only teaching to Jatt Boys.

Then again he tells him about his childhood time about how Sardars treat with his family just because they belong to a low caste. He tells about Gajana Singh. The Sardars where his father doing a job as servant clean dumbs and garbage.
And one day Surjit Singh become an S.D.M that Gajan Singh came to his bungalow with his son for solve some his own problem. But Surjit has hated them inside but treat them like he forgets everything that how they were treated with his family.

In the end, Surjit Singh asks Harnam Singh, Tell me now that you want to say, But Harnam Singh tells him, nothing I just have to go now. But Surjit forcefully asks that what happened to tell me clearly. Then Harnam Singh tells him that he came here with the relation for his boy, But now no need for these. Because of they also Jatt.
