Jeremy Heslup is a filmmaker and director based in Culver City, California and the founder of Valkyr Productions LLC.
With an affinity for structured storytelling in narrative, doc and commercial, he believes memorable characters are at the heart of success for any project.
For over a decade, he has been directing and creating films, docs, commercial spots and brand films with a focus on automotive, music and lifestyle.
“With Westerns, it’s all about world-building – a man in black, a gunslinger, a saloon girl. We thought, ‘how fun would it be to insert a modern stagecoach into the middle of a bank heist, and then to see how those stereotypical characters would react.’”
“From the narrative side, I hope people see a story that is identifiable within the Western genre; from the commercial side, I hope people see a fresher, more purposeful take on motivating how the car is used in the story.” - Writer/Director Jeremy Heslup
