Writer Statement

I believe the most compelling narratives emerge from expanding our personal experience into universal stories. My transition from banking to screenwriting wasn't an escape from the real world—it was a deeper dive into it.
After decades of analyzing human behavior across cultures, I discovered that people's most revealing moments happen not in boardrooms, but in their everyday struggles with technology, family, fears, and dreams deferred. Whether crafting a horror story about digital dependency (OFFLINE) or following a teenager (LAV) whose dreams are tested by the demands of caring for her sick grandmother, I'm drawn to characters caught between who they are and who they want, or need, to become.
