The Footprint Chaser
The Footprint chaser runs in the morning along the seashore of the place where he is on holiday with his wife, with whom his relationship seems to be falling apart. When he sees the footprints left by other people on the shore, he imagines their thoughts. During this game with himself, he becomes attracted by the footprints left by a Man, which lead him to an isolated house along the beach.
For several days the Footprint chaser follows the Man's footprints to the house, but he never finds the courage to meet the Man. One morning, after being left by his wife, the Footprint chaser sees on the shore the footprints left by young men and women, which remind him of his youth: the love for a boy, the rumors about his homosexuality, the decision to get married in the hope of a “normal” life. Finally, the Footprint chaser finds the courage to follow the footprints that lead him to a new life.
