SEMI-FINALIST
He was born in 1979. He studied prehistoric archaeology at Istanbul University. He has been interested in guitar music, photography and films since his childhood.
The film questions the possibility of an individual's ability to resist the decisions taken against his/her will throughout his/her life, and makes a tragicomic touch on our lives shaped by family, marriage, law, traditions and customs through the freedom to choose clothes.
Most of the film was shot in Urla-Bademler, which has the first village theater in Turkey. The entire team that contributed to the film worked voluntarily on the project and many of the extras were also selected from Bademler Village.
The inhabitants of Bademler, where Metin Erksan's 1963 film Susuz Yaz, which won an award at the Berlin Film Festival, was also shot, displayed their devotion to art and the stage with the same passion in this film.
