The Feminine Mystaque
In this one minute feminist horror flick, Betty Hopescotch heroically saves up-and-comers from the hell of mindlessness.
The Feminine Mystaque is a dark comedic thriller inspired by an Ernest Hemingway poem and Betty Friedan's classic book 'The Feminine Mystique' which was widely credited with sparking the beginning of second-wave feminism in 1963.
Produced in Media Arts 101 (Intro to Digital/Video Film) @ Los Angeles Valley College with Professor A. Rodriguez.

Kelleia Sheerin is an award-winning wild west born American dancer/actor/choreographer/director. Equal parts performer & creator, Kelleia is a rare broad who has carved out a career telling bewitching, quick-silvered stories of people on the verge of either a break down or a break through. From directing award-winning plays to dancing as an absurd Scottish Tart in Eric Idle’s live radio-play What About Dick? From portraying the ultra-savvy Burlesque Star of her time, Tempest Storm, in the film Gangster Squad to camping-it-up as a 16-year-old camp counselor in Wet Hot American Summer - First Day of Camp. From “wishing and hoping” in the classic opening sequence of My Best Friend’s Wedding to originating a role on Broadway in Urban Cowboy and choreographing on a myriad of shows, plays & musicals, Kelleia has built her reputation on an inherent understanding of the work, a respect for the unpredictable, the 10,000+ hours of a professional and the ability to solve anything.
