Director Biography - Alexander Machlouzarides-Shalit

Alex Machlouzarides- Shalit was born on the 23rd of January 1996 in New York City. At aged 10 he moved permanently to his home-country of Cyprus. He studied at the English School, completed his military service, received First class Hons Bachelors Degree in Film Studies at Falmouth University. He is now currently in London, completing his Master's Degree in Directing at MetFilmSchool London.

The Fabulous Misadventures of Cotsios and Yiannakis is a surreal tease. A fantastically, overly stylized reality that is juxtaposed with the mundane conversations of the duo. The madness and hilarity embroiled in the situations of the characters, usher the critique on our society and films.
