Director Biography - Daljit Kalsi

Daljit Kalsi, is a regular entrant at the Tryon International Film Festival since 2017-when his thriller "Bound" won best overall film-returns in 2022 with the short film, "The Ensuing", from writer and lead actress Tammy Mattox. Kalsi, a Greenville, SC native, has produced shorts and features that have played at festivals worldwide and many are available on OTT streaming platforms.

Director Statement

North Carolina has plenty of ghostly legends. This one from the mind of actor and emerging screenwriter Tammy Mattox takes audiences deep into the Smoky Mountains-into an abandoned tunnel where deals with something devilish are made in darkness. We were able to bring this script to screen amid a beautiful autumn backdrop in Swain County and a talented ensemble of regional actors.
