Director Biography - Ethan McKellar

Ethan McKellar is a theater and film director and producer raised in Ridley Park Pennsylvania. Ethan attended Ridley High School (Class of 2020). In 2017, Ethan was awarded the prestigious Eagle Scout Award through Boy Scouts of America Troop 339.
Ethan is finishing his bachelor of arts degree in Film & Screen Studies at Pace University (Class of 2024) in New York City. At Pace University, Ethan was a part of the International Performance Ensemble where he studied ensemble and theater skills explored worldwide. In New York City, Ethan oversees a Gen-Z production company, F14 Entertainment. With F14 Entertainment he has produced over a dozen projects, and directed many of them including; 21st Century Love Story (2022), Saturday Sunday Monday (2022), and the Ensemble (2024). Ethan has won multiple awards including Best Director from the Actor & Director Awards-New York City for 21st Century Love Story.
Ethan has directed/produced many theater productions. Highlights include Orphans (2018), The Lion King Jr. (2022), and The SpongeBob Musical (2023). Ethan is the co-founder and Artistic Director of Ridley Performing Arts Program, a non-profit theatre program, where he oversees the development and execution of programming, events, and company matters.

As a director, I strive to tell stories that hit an emotional chord and explore themes not popularly spoken aloud. I hope my films leave viewers asking questions and find their lives intertwined with the stories I tell.
