The Echo of Immortal Blood

For centuries, Vincent has been a pillar of the Council, a respected Elder who upheld the law until he discovered the truth about the Wraith’s encroachment on their world. His life is irrevocably altered when he bonds with Edward, a younger, gifted empath who possesses an immortality that the Council seeks to harvest.
Rejecting the Council’s clinical demands for control, Edward willingly transfers his empathic essence to Vincent—a profound, consensual sacrifice designed to protect his power from exploitation. As the years pass, the two engage in a secret, sensual defiance, living their truth under the Council’s cold, watchful eye.
When their secret is finally unearthed, Vincent is brought to trial. The film explores the profound weight of their love as Vincent faces judgment, maintaining their pact until the very end. It is a haunting tale of hubris, where the Council’s rigid obsession with the "code" leads to their ultimate moral isolation, while Vincent and Edward find a transcendent, final victory in their sacrifice.

Director Statement

"With The Echo of Immortal Blood, my goal was to bridge the gap between amateur creative vision and a cinematic, high-concept tragedy. This project was written, produced, and edited entirely on my smartphone, demonstrating that high-concept storytelling is no longer limited to studio environments or professional workstations. The film is a meditation on the cost of blind adherence to tradition and the beauty found in those who dare to defy it. By utilizing an AI-assisted workflow, I aimed to create a 'Gothic dreamscape' where the visuals, original soundtrack, and narrative flow work in absolute unison. I chose this medium to prove that technology—accessible from the palm of one's hand—can produce stories that are as emotionally weighty, haunting, and polished as any traditional film."
