Justin Borland is a 21 year old filmmaker, music producer/composer, comedian, and photographer. If you couldn't tell, he really loves the arts. He is currently attending Azusa Pacific University, majoring in Film Production and set to direct his class's junior film project.

Director Statement

This short was a "shoot like Kurosawa" project for a film studies class I'm in. I could've recreated a scene or even just done some generic shots, but I haven't been able to shoot a film in a year and a half, so I really needed to go the extra mile and be creative with it. We all had a lot of fun making this, and this is the first film I've ever made that I can genuinely say I'm proud of. I hope everyone else enjoys it as much as I and the other cast members do.
