The Deadline
"How's my favourite writer doing?"
It's safe to say that Alan (Felix Munt) has overshot his deadline, but when pressed, he resorts to his preferred method - outrunning time.

Best Young Director - Winner
Hello there!
My name is James Rowland and I am an A-Level Film & Media student who creates Short films.
I also have a podcast - Gee-Wizz!, which I host with one Felix Munt!
When writing this short film, I wanted to delve into the moral issues around time travel, not just the literal: Yes.. In the end Alan fails in his 'quest', but the true consequence to his actions are through cheating the natural order, ultimately reaching his "Deadline".
Whilst I do certainly believe the narrative could have been conveyed better, I still never-the-less am immensely proud of the technical skills shown in this production, and look forward greatly to improving further!
