The Day I Became A Refugee

On February 24th 2022, Russia started a war against the independent nation of Ukraine.

Anna, a young single mother, loses her job and home overnight due to the bombardment and has to leave her family and country.

Because of the circumstances, she accepts a job offer in Germany. But the people who offered her the job only wanted to take advantage of her plight. So she ends up as a victim of human trafficking.

The story is about a strong woman who fights her way through to support her son and family back home.

The director is an Award Wining Director, who studied Film-production at the NYU in New York. He has more than 20 Years of experience, and worked as a Director and Producer on many different Media projects around the globe. He is strongly engaged in diversity and inclusion. He always felt the need to support minorities with his projects.

With this film, I want to give Ukraine a voice in the hope to make a difference for a peaceful world.
It was a great experience to work with Ukrainian Actors, who found the strength to work on this project despite the ongoing war.
