The Darkness Within Me

A 30 year old delusional woman named Destiny, who has night terrors was raised by her father's mentor Dan and his wife Bea. Unexpectedly Bea's husband was killed trying to save Destiny's father LeRon, and both parents abandoned her not by choice. Destiny's mother is an evil Goddess that she falls in love with a human man. Becomes pregnant and gets banished by involved with a human and giving him special abilities, of being immortals and a baby girl that she became a demigod like her father. Since her mother is banish, another Gothic Goddess is taking a chance to steal the throne from the God of Light. Also trying to keep him away from Destiny that she is finding out that she has both dark and light magic. Which can save the world or end in the world and trying to stop both from get the throne of power. But you have to have pure of heart to have the power of the throne.

Director Biography - Alonda Kerr, Angel Scott

I am Alonda Kerr I was born and raised in St. Louis Missouri. I have for my education I went to Shaw visual and performing arts , Marquette, visual and performing arts , and central visual and performing arts (VAP) is where I learn my skills to become an artist. It was always been my dream to be a dancer, Actor, & a filmmaker. I’m a story teller, and I enjoy telling stories to people, and to watch their expressions on their faces, as I told the stories. I decided to write the stories down, so I’ll be able to remember to tell the tales of my stories which made me want to start making movies.
Angel Scott was a big help in some parts of the film, by giving some ideas & pointers that she was able to bring out to my story, that she help bring to life.

Director Statement

"I was inspired to make this film because of my night terrors that I had as a child, I had suffered horrific violence and loss growing up, and I was a day dreamer, that often stay in fantasy land a lot as well. My goal was to create a cinematic experience that would allow audiences to feel their terror and disorientation of night terrors but also their incredible strength and determination. I aimed to capture not just their suffering and living in fantasy, but also their spirit of hope and their fight for a better future. This film is a testament to the power of the human spirit to overcome adversity.
