Director Biography - Alessandro Mergola

Born in San Benedetto del Tronto (AP) Italy in 2000, Alessandro Mergola is an Indipendent Filmmaker and Photographer, interested also in Acting.
In 2015 have founded with Angelo Manconi "Funghetto", an independent YouTube Channel in which his production are published.
The name "Funghetto" is taken by his personal Nickname.
In the years Alessandro Mergola has Directed: "Io Ti Osservo" (2015), "The (non) Making of Io Ti Ammazzo" (2016), "The Shadow - A Watch_Dogs Film Fest Short Film" (2017), "L' Oscura Presenza - Ep.0 Prologo" (2018).
Have also produced a documentary on the city of Corropoli (TE, Italy) that it was been shown on Rai (The Italian public broadcaster)
Alessandro Mergola also works in a Hotel Company as a Web Marketing and Social Media Manager.

It has been a really big challenge! We have realised what I had in mind. But what gave us the hard time was the special effects that are really made without using VFX.
