The Credible Adventures of Mr. T

Thomas is a 32-year-old filmmaker from Bologna who after graduation moves to London to study English while working part time.

A year later he returns to Italy and after a brief stint of studies at the Polytechnic University of Turin, he decides to focus on working, from being an ice cream vendor to a waiter, a cosmetics salesman and later on hits rock bottom when hired as an Amazon courier.

Only few years ago a turning point. His background stems from his passion for ‘video editing’ ever since his early experiments with “Movie Maker” kindly offered by Windows 98 back in the 2000’s. To follow his thrills and ambitions, he has been attending courses, masterclasses and workshops on Videomaking and Screenwriting. Thomas’ passions range from comic illustration to drawing, sculpture and painting but he’s also a literature lover and a keen Rock music listener.

Then to June 2022 where he wins a scholarship for the “Directing Masterclass with John Landis”, in collaboration with IFA – International Filmmaking Academy. This Masterclass leads him to the making of his first short film "The Credible Adventure of Mr. T". On set he bonds with DAMS students and volunteers who soon become his friends.

Succeeding in “delivering on time”, this past November, Thomas and his team submitted to 48H Film Festival their short film called “Nutang - An Urban Tale” entirely written, directed, and edited in two days. Currently he’s writing several sketches he would like to stage one day. There he pictures his life with his vicissitudes and adventures and the people he met along the way.
