The Coquí Frog: From the Taínos to Climate Change

In search of the quintessential singer of Puerto Rico, three biologists led by Rafael Joglar document the coqui frogs that still remain in the Carite Forest, where their distinct calls emerge from the chorus of the night. They also travel to El Yunque, where the Dwarf Coqui sings a different tune, as climate change places increasing pressure on Puerto Rico’s 14 species of coqui, five of which are under threat.
