Director Statement

The Chorus in Our Eyes indie film was so much of a delight to film. I felt romcoms are a dying breed in the industry, and I wanted to stretch myself into the world of Deborah Shine. I met with Ken, and we started putting my concept into action, during the Spring of 2024! I wear the hats of director, writer, producer, and lead star of this film. Being able to shoot in Central Park with all the beautiful scenery during the Summer was perfect and so NYC! I hope anyone who watches embraces the lesson of not judging a book by its cover, and, the message of letting change enter our lives through Deb and Enrique's relationship.
