The Chimera Effect
As if studying for the bar exam was not hard enough, Samantha Antrum is also dealing with the recent death of her father. Prior to his passing, he wished to continue to “protect her from what’s to come” but will not be able to. Samantha's life starts to unravel as a mysterious “Watcher” takes residency deep into Samantha’s psyche. Samantha enters a race against time to discover the identity of this person who has entered her life and their intentions before it is too late.

Born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina, Carlos Butler earned his first role in the short film "California Dreaming". After serving honorably in the United States Navy, he began studying Method Acting at the Rehearsal Room in San Diego. Following a featured role on ABC's Resurrection, Carlos completed the conservatory program at Second City Hollywood. Carlos has expanded and grown into writer and producer roles with several projects. The Chimera Effect marks his feature film directorial debut. He now resides in Los Angeles, California.
