The CORPORATION²: Revolution Of X
"CORPORATION 2: Revolution of X" continues the saga after the events of the first film, diving deeper into a dystopian future where science, sacrifice, and rebellion collide. Dr. Robinson, mourning the loss of his wife, seeks vengeance against those who wronged him, setting off a chain of events that leads to memory transfer, betrayal within a corporate empire, and the rise of an AI-enhanced version of himself.
As sinister secrets surface from Mars and a mysterious figure named X threatens humanity with a powerful helium missile, only the remnants of Dr. Robinson's memories—preserved in a synthetic body—stand a chance to stop it. A war erupts between rogue heroes and the corrupt E.L.D Corporation, climaxing with an EMP-triggered revolution that changes the fate of Earth and Mars forever.
The film is a fusion of intense drama, futuristic technology, and emotional depth, highlighting the eternal conflict between greed and justice, and the ultimate question: what makes us truly human?

Omid Reza Marusi is a self-taught independent filmmaker from Mashhad, Iran.
With a deep passion for storytelling and science fiction, he created his first short film, CORPORATION, using only a smartphone and minimal resources.
His second film, CORPORATION²: Revolution of X, was also made entirely on the same phone — a bolder step expanding the world he started.
Omid single-handedly completed every stage of production: writing, sound design, voice acting (as Dr. Robinson), editing, scene creation, animating AI-generated shots, producing, and directing — all done with the same phone and the bare minimum, but with full belief.
> "This film was made in 3 months, using only a phone. For one of the 4-second scenes, I worked nonstop for 48 hours; sleepless, without resources, but with belief.
CORPORATION²: Revolution of X is not just a short film — it’s a piece of my soul."
The film is dedicated to his mother, to Josh Watson, Mehdi Choupan, and to everyone who stood by him —
but more importantly, to the countless unknown talents in Iran and across the world who may be even more gifted, yet don’t even have access to a basic phone.
> "They have no voice — but through this film, I share mine with them."
Omid is grateful to FilmFreeway and the festivals that gave him the opportunity to share his story with the world — not for reward, but for connection.

I made this film with difficulty, but with heart.
And even now, I’m writing this statement on the very same phone I used to create it —
from voice recording, sound design, and editing, to directing and animation,
I did it all with one device, full focus, and deep belief.
I gave this project 100% of my ability.
I ignored every negative voice, distanced myself from distractions, and stayed committed —
even when no one helped me.
I could only afford the AI tools and subscriptions thanks to my mother and my close friend,
who became the sponsor of this film.
He is also featured in the movie and, despite not being fluent in English,
did his voice acting with passion and determination.
I wrote this message to remind others:
If you truly want to make something — you can.
And I thank FilmFreeway for keeping the path open
for creators like me, who just need a chance to be seen.
Warm regards,
Omid R. Marusi
