35 years old Brazilian, living in Rio de Janeiro with wife and son. I currently work as a freelance animator and I have participated in projects for Warnner Bross, Netflix, Dreamworks and others.
Art is already in my life since I was very young, as a teenager I was a graffiti artist and participated in some art exhibitions in my city.
So I decided to become a professional and after some courses I started to working as a graphic designer and later as an illustrator.
The animation cames some years before but in animation that I really found myself as an artist.
Currently I try to concile my work with freelancer whit my personal animation projects.
I've been working on this project since the beginning of 2020 and this project is special for me because for the first time as an animator I was able to expose my ideas and my vision.
My references in the animation for this project that comes from the Disney style of the 50s.
The main personagme was inspired by the musician Louis Armstrong, his life story and his overcoming inspired me and I decided to write this story.
It is extremely difficult and often tiring to work with animation, but after seeing the finished film it was really rewarding. A friend told me that I had a lot more work making this film than the protagonist had to achieve his goal and I think that is true.
I hope you have fun watching this little movie just like me had fun making it.
