(Gijón, 1984). Born in Asturias, he began his career in the audiovisual industry in 2006, accumulating more than 18 years of experience in the sector. Throughout his trajectory, he has held different roles —photojournalist, editor and director—working for national broadcasters such as Atresmedia Group, Mediaset and Telefónica Movistar.
In 2017 he founded his own production company, Plátano Studio, where he has directed advertising campaigns for major national brands and videosclips with international artists. After several years dedicated to advertising and television, David embarked on his debut feature, 'The Big Apple', a documentary filmed between Asturias and New York that chronicles the journey of Asturian cider and reflects his passion for stories that connect the local with the global.
