Director Biography - Natalie LaTurno

Natalie LaTurno is a filmmaker based in Springfield, Missouri. Natalie works part-time freelancing as a Director or Production Designer on local independent film productions in Missouri and also waits tables part-time. Natalie gets inspiration for her films through various outlets such as guests she serves, old rock n' roll songs, childhood memories, and traveling. She is currently a full-time student at Missouri State University and will graduate in December 2019 with a Bachelor's in Film Production. Natalie's first short film she co-directed and co-wrote, "Sick Trick", won the best film and best screenplay at SATO 48 Film Festival. "The Battle of Billy Joe" is her first solo directing project. Natalie enjoyed building sets for plays in High School and continues to enjoy diving into every aspect of the creative process of filmmaking. Her dream is to find success blending her two favorite passions: Traveling and Filmmaking.
