Johan is a nerdy teenager with an interest in the unknown. One day he stumbles upon a website about astral projection, the ability to leave your physical body, and decides to try it. While invisible to those around him, he becomes the sole witness to a murder.

Director Biography - Jimmy Seiersen

A writer/director and occasional actor from southern Sweden. Being a horror fan since forever, he has also contributed essays about classic horror films to the horror reference books "Horror 101: The A-List of Horror Films and Monster Movies" and "Hidden Horror: A Celebration of 101 Underrated and Overlooked Fright Flicks". In 2023 he made a detour into comedy when he wrote, directed and acted in “The Final Hand”, which premiered in Los Angeles. He has now switched to horror with “Only in the Dark”.

The Astral Projector is my first short film that was released to the public, but it didn't play at any festivals at the time. If accepted, it would be the world premiere at festivals.
