The Assassins of Fifth Avenue

The Assassins of Fifth Avenue, an edgy crime thriller, tells the story of Chase Carson, a wealthy, criminal mastermind, cultured, refined, Christian, he is the architect of a religious criminal organization carried out by the pastoral team of his church, that provides them a new revenue stream, with limited risk, until they murder Andrew LaConte, the son of a wealthy businessman. As she is covering the story, New York Star Crime beat reporter Riley Ryan, a dedicated, hard-hitting, uncompromising journalist, hired by her mentor Ed Diamond, immediately recognizes patterns in the LeConte murder that seem to connect several murders, and believes the city is dealing with a modernized version of Charles Manson. She enlists the aid of an exiled detective, a master profiler, and former Bronx detective, Marshall Callaghan credited for solving the infamous Bronx Slayer serial killer case, who moved to DC after the gang retaliation murder of his family and operates a high end P.I. agency and security consulting firm. As the evidence begins to expose a hierarchy, Chase Carson, who has informants everywhere, must limit his exposure and hires Callaghan to gain his trust. When Riley gets too close to the truth, the killer targets her, slowly derailing her momentum until she is kidnapped and held hostage. This leads to a climatic and surprise ending. The Assassins of Fifth Avenue, an edgy crime thriller, pulled right from the headlines, with plot twists and turns that will keep you guessing to the very end.
