Director Biography - Ziyu Gao

Ziyu Gao is a New York-based Director and Producer. Originally from Singapore, She began her film career as an actor, she worked on numerous projects from student films to commercials, and eventually found her true passion behind the camera.

Ziyu has directed more than 6 short films and obtained awards from festivals all over the world. Ziyu is studying film and television production at the USC School of Cinematic Arts for the summer and hopes to create more experimental films that align with her own experience and vision.
