The Art & Soul of Taiwan

The Art & Soul of Taiwan is a short documentary produced in collaboration with Campus Magazine Singapore for the Taiwan Tourism Bureau of Singapore.

In this film, 15 individuals from various parts of Taiwan are spotlighted – each leading different lives, but all sharing one common cultural identity. Through each story, we get a glimpse into their lives, culture and beliefs.

Director Biography - Veronica May Gwen Leow

Hi, I’m Veronica Leow, the director of this project and a a recent graduate from LASALLE Diploma in 2D Animation. In December 2023, I travelled to Taiwan with my classmate for the filming of this documentary, where both of us developed visuals and concept art for the animated segments in the film. As an aspiring visual development and storyboard artist, I have a special focus on vibrant, eye-catching visuals; allowing me to create graphics that transport you right into the illustration’s environment. Producer: Panisara Sutisukon
Hi! I am Panisara Sutisukon, primarily known as Prim. I co-directed and produced this project. I am a Thai 2D Animator, graduated from LASALLE College of the Arts. I am eager to transition my skills into a role as an animation producer, working on TV animation series.
