Ab Oceano: Origins - "The Arrival Part 1"
Ab Oceano: Origins is a serialized prequel anthology series. Its two-part pilot follows Rehan Briggs in 2003, years before his ascent to Rear Admiral in the U.S. Navy.
In the shadow of post-9/11 America, Rehan begins a new assignment that promises professional advancement but deepens the personal stakes of his life with his fiancée, Amara—a Pakistani Muslim immigrant—and her young son, Tariq. As the family prepares to relocate across continents, they confront immigration uncertainty, cultural displacement, and the fragile hope of building a shared future.
Part 1 establishes the emotional and geopolitical foundations of Rehan’s past, where love, duty, and identity first begin to collide.
The pilot launches an interconnected anthology in which each lead character receives a dedicated arc, weaving toward the events of the feature-length film Ab Oceano.
