This short film is born from my personal experiences as a Black woman navigating the subtle, yet impactful world of microaggressions. Through humor, I’ve chosen to share moments that are both relatable and revealing, inviting the audience to reflect on the uncomfortable encounters that are not only offensive, but outright disrespectful to many people of color.
My goal is to spark curiosity, encouraging viewers to dig deeper into these issues, while also celebrating the resilience, style, and grace of Black culture. The characters, with their distinctive wardrobes and hairstyles, reflect the beauty and creativity that define us, carrying the story with confidence and authenticity.
