Director Statement

What drew me toward directing “The Algorithm” was the opportunity to be involved in the first produced screenplay written by Darwin Green, the son of Walon Green, who wrote “The Wild Bunch” and “Sorcerer.” Darwin has stood tall as a screenwriter in his own right for many years, so when the funding clicked into place to make “The Algorithm,” I much wanted to be a part of it. The sweetness, emotion, and zeitgeist relevance of this sci-fi love story is all owed to the screenplay.
