Lingling Hu was born in Shanghai, China in 1993. Graduated from Shanghai Theatre Academy in 2020, majored in Film Direction. As the director and screenwriter of the short film "That's not you", she was shortlisted in the Cross Strait Youth Short Film Competition; Her current occupation is an editor.
In the script writing stage of this film, we tries to restore the memories of the post-90s living in Shanghai in their puberty, and restore the original memory through fragmented narration. This film explores not only the heroine's tentative cognition of "love" in her youth, but also the presentation of maternal love that the mother of single-parent family was not good at expressing but was caring about at that time.
