Dylan Hensley is an MFA Graduate in Documentary Production from the University of North Texas, with a BA in Media Arts and Minor in Anthropology.
Their work spans from experimental documentaries that focus on community and the environment, to vlogs and short films embedded with magical realism. They are also an accomplished musician under the stage name Saint Naive.
This experimental film is essentially 28 years in the making--culminating into my thesis film that I worked tirelessly to produce. Join me on this journey as I push beyond the boundaries of documentary with this film as we explore the creation of cultures/community, muse on places and impermanence, and unravel the life story of my family's table through the eyes of strangers.
