Temporarily Like Marlowe
Nate Parker is a failed actor managing a liquor store in downtown Los Angeles. When an old friend’s husband is brutally murdered in their home, Nate suddenly finds himself working with a P.I. named Martin Wu. The two criss-cross L.A. uncovering family secrets, an interesting assortment of local denizens, and a list of possible suspects including Nate, himself. With everyone involved wanting the case solved before the LAPD discovers too much, Nate goes all in to absolve himself and find the killer.
