Set in Rio de Janeiro, this comedy follows Pedro and Marcos, two delivery drivers, as they humorously compare their job to sexual encounters. While waiting for orders outside a restaurant, they discuss various customer types and situations, drawing parallels to different sexual experiences.
The conversation reveals the precarious nature of their work, including low pay, dangerous deliveries, and the constant pressure from the app. Their light-hearted banter masks deeper concerns about job security, safety, and dignity.
The story climaxes with both drivers receiving new delivery notifications - Pedro gets a low-paying, potentially risky order, while Marcos receives a promising high-end delivery. They part ways, leaving the audience with a bittersweet reflection on the realities of the gig economy in modern Brazil.
Throughout the script, the characters' dialogue is peppered with local slang and humor, offering a glimpse into the daily lives and struggles of Rio's working-class delivery drivers.

Best Short Script Competition
I am a Brazilian screenwriter currently based in Lisbon. With a background in Literature from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), I explore cinematic storytelling with a strong foundation in narrative and language. My scripts blend humor and drama to engage with social themes and contemporary issues.
Many of the stories I work on revolve around characters experiencing cultural shifts and personal transformations, often drawing from diverse perspectives and real-life observations. From mockumentaries to intense dramas, the focus is on creating authentic dialogue and dynamic storytelling.
Inspired by travel and cultural exchanges, my approach aims to connect with universal themes while maintaining a distinctly Brazilian perspective. The goal is to craft narratives that balance social critique with engaging character development.
