TAMAR

Tamar is a prostitute who stands out for her bizarre look and a black veil that covers her eyes. The true identity of the prostitute is unknown, in fact "Tamar" is only a stage name that has historical and biblical hints behind it, since "Tamar" in the bible was Judas daughter-in-law. She decided to prostitute herself with Judas because she wanted to get revenge for an injustice procured by the old man. She hides her true identity, wearing a black veil in front of her eyes, and succeeds to trick her father-in-law and gets pregnant by the latter. This short film shows us the girl's most hidden events and desires, through clues capable of revealing a psychological analysis of a rather complex character.

Director Biography - Giorgio Lombardelli

I was born in Italy in a small town called Tolentino the 27th August 1995, from an Italian father and a Serbian mother. I think that mix of such bizarre and colorfoul cultures has influenced so much my view of cinema and life.

I started studying cinema in “Akademija Umetnosti” in Belgrade in 2014 and i finished my studies in 2018.

Always passionate about cinema since i was a kid. I have always tried to set up my professional training path with the aim of being able to accumulate useful knowledge to fully enter this fascinating world. In my personal projects i always take care of the screenplay, the direction and the photography of the film. Personally the most important aspects in a film are being able to convey as many messages as possible with the visibility of the images and the dramaturgy. Every time I write a script i can imagine each scene in my head, without needing to draw any storyboards. On the other hand, as the master Fellini said: "Nothing is known, everything is imagined!"
