Director Biography - Zane Barber

Zane grew up on a ranch just North of the New Mexican border working cattle and spending thousands of hours surrounded by wilderness. This gave him a unique eye for the natural beauty in the world around him.

Martial arts and wrestling have been another major inspiration. He has spent over fifteen years pursuing these athletic endeavors. His time engaging in them sharpened his sense of movement in both stunt coordination and camera work. His love for acting began when he acted in his first play at seven and he has been acting ever since.

He has directed many film projects in Colorado and New Mexico ranging from short films, to documentaries, highlight reels, and a PSA for the City of Denver. He has also worked as an actor and/or stuntman in several films; and writes and produces projects like Seventh Wolf and Valhalla's Forsaken.

Director Statement

I think that family has fallen apart in recent years. I want to show how far I believe people should go for their family (both blood and chosen). Talion demonstrates how much a strong family is willing to sacrifice for one another.
