Taking the time / Prendre le temps

The film has three parts and a prologue. It features the artist Stefania Kenley on the occasion of her performance to accompany the projection of a film bringing together paintings and poetry as a plea for taking the time - to look, to listen, to observe the world around us, seeking the horizon. In the last part of the film, the artist invites the audience to choose a word from the poem and to say it out loud, identifying in some way with the ensemble of words and images.

Le film est composé de trois parties et d'un prologue. Il met en scène l'artiste Stefania Kenley à l'occasion de sa performance accompagnant la projection d'un film réunissant peintures et poèmes comme un appel à prendre le temps - de regarder, d'écouter, d'observer le monde qui nous entoure, à la recherche de l'horizon. Dans la dernière partie du film, l'artiste invite le public à choisir un mot du poème et à le dire à haute voix, en s'identifiant d'une certaine manière à l'ensemble des mots et des images.
