"I like to create movies that that take place in a world full of magic realism. Comedy movies mixed up with some absurd and tragic ingrediënts that will make the audience laugh, but also talks to them on a deeper level. "Masterclass" takes place in a provincial region in Holland called Friesland. This movies portrays the typical characters from this deserted region and confronts them with a pompous Hollywood actor. It's a comic confontation between two total different cultures"
