Farook's a problem solver and he can be relied upon no matter the deadline or the quest.
When a mother dies giving birth to unexpected triplets, one child emerges as an evolutionary anomaly: a boy with a head three times the size of his body and three fused brains. His father abandons him outside a children’s nursery, where he is taken in by two loving women, JINNY and EL. They name him BLAKE EVAN WILLIS – or BEW – but as he grows, it becomes clear that this is no ordinary child: his eyes change colour depending on which personality speaks, and his mind operates as three distinct, sometimes conflicting beings.
Bullied, misunderstood and feared by society, BEW struggles to find his place. Tutored by a compassionate mentor, he is encouraged to discover a purpose – but the world refuses to accept him. After years of cruelty, BEW lashes out violently, forcing a courtroom to grapple with a question no legal system is prepared to answer: how do you hold one man accountable when three minds inhabit the same body?
A media frenzy erupts as lawyers debate whether BEW – or one of the personalities – can be responsible for his actions. Ultimately, a judge imposes an unconventional resolution: compensation for the victims and a unique role for BEW in law enforcement, exploiting his unnerving presence as an FBI interrogator. Yet, the power awakens a darker ambition: with society still blind to his full potential, BEW sets his sights on those who wronged him most – beginning with El.
TRIO is a gripping psychological thriller exploring identity, belonging and the terrifying genius of a mind that cannot be contained. Part chilling, part heartbreaking, it asks: if the world refuses to accept you, how far will you go to claim your place?
