Director Statement

TRANSMITZVAH is a unique and disruptive historic tale about the search for identity that goes beyond questions of gender. It is an existential and humanist comedy about finding oneself and others, including that other who lives inside every one of us and with whom we would do well to reconcile.

It is a journey back to the past to re-establish origins, invent oneself and write one’s own rules, far removed from shortcuts and labels. The road leading to who we are is one that we should all walk down.
