Director Statement

Born 1998 in Suita City, Osaka, Japan. Currently a student in the Visual Concept Planning Department at Osaka University of Arts and CEO of illi237, inc ., a video production company.

In 2020, studied under film director Taichi Kimura. In the same year, he directed "Sin-Gone Irony", which recorded the encounter with Takashi Hirai, a priest of the Shingon sect, and the disappearance of Ishihara, who died suddenly, and completed it in 2021. "Sin-Gone Irony" will be world pre-released at the Houston International Film Festival. Platinum Award in the Main Competition Drama category at the same film festival Awarded. In addition, two leading actors, Hideyuki Kawahara and Yuh Kamiya, were nominated for the Best Actor Award. After that, he was selected for more than 10 international film festivals.

In 2021, "Two on the edge" directed by Yusuke Kitaguchi, who was in charge of cinematographer, won the Best Director Award at the Rising Sun International Film Festival. Received the Best Actress Award. 45th Sao Paulo International Film Festival New Director Competition Department Nominated, Selected for Lusca Fantastic Film Fest. Officially selected for the JAPANNUAL Film Festival held in Austria.

In 2022, he directed the short film "Crunch Crunch", which is about 3 minutes long and depicts the tragedy that occurs in the hot and humid summer and the noisy cicadas.

In the same year, he participated as a cinematographer in Rii Ishihara and Hiroyuki Onogawa's first directorial short film "GUU ~Flashback Before Death~". Winner of the Best Film Award at the 55th Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia Short Film Category (NEW VISIONS).
