Director Biography - Dave Paull

Dave Paull is an amateur filmmaker. He is known for Reunion, Roswell Revisited, Wizardry at the Con, Nightbumpers, Wordspeaker, Searching for Sasquatch, Our Neighbors, Zodiac Killer From Beyond The Grave, and John Lennon: A Conspiracy of Silence.

During his broadcasting career, Dave Paull initiated in-depth radio interviews with two Academy Award winners: William Hurt and Ernest Borgnine.

Director Statement

Actor Rod Harrel suggested that we do this scene as a tribute to the 1956 film classic, INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS. He charged out of Bronson cave with such verve that I decided to keep the one and only take.

I used a hands-off approach in directing this character actor, who is known for his quirky performances.

Rod is working class all the way, having moved to Hollywood to get small speaking roles and bits as a movie extra. He actually appeared in two Coen Brothers movies: Hail, Cesar! and Suburbicon. Due to surgeries and illness, he had to move on.

Rod is currently a singer-songwriter living in Chico CA.
