THE WONDERFUL LIFE OF OLGA BISERA

Yukotic Bisera was born in Mostar, in the former Yugoslavia, on May 26, 1944. After a troubled childhood she takes refuge in Belgrade where she successfully got her diploma at the Academy of Dramatic Art. It's in the Serbian capital that her film career began by participating in the movie "Ardenne 44, un inferno" (Castel Keep) in 1969, produced by the American John Calley and played by Burt Lancaster, Patrick O'Neal and Peter Falck.
On the set she developped a solid friendship with Burt Lancaster who convinced her to move to Los Angeles to continue her acting career. Arrived in Hollywood she started a romantic relationship with the producer John Calley but after a short time it turned out to be a miserable failure inducing her to commit suicide, fortunately failed. After that great emotional disappointment she decided to move to Rome where she began her film career that would allow her to work with artists such as Sylva Coscina, Paolo Villaggio, Lando Buzzanca, Corrado Pani, Nathalie Delon, Marcello Mastroianni, Adriano Celentano,
Aldo Maccione, Mario Carotenuto, Fernando Rey, Roger Moore and Barbara Bach. Among her most iconic roles is prominent the one of the "Bond Girl" in the film "007, The Spy Who Loved Me" directed by Lewis Gilbert,in 1977. The one who gave her the stage name of "Olga Bisera" was the French star Alain Delon with whom she played the film "La prima notte di quiete", in 1972, a solid and lasting friendship was born between the two during that period. In the seventies and eighties she had numerous relationships with major international stars: Yul Brynner, Omar Sharif, Frank Sinatra, Kirk Douglas, David Niven and Burt Lancaster were just a few of them. Tired of her film career, she devoted herself to journalism by collaborating with the newspaper "ll Tempo", at that time directed by Gianni Letta
and “Telemontecarlo”, popular her interviews with Muammar al-Qaddafi, Yasser Arafat, Husayn of Jordan and Lech Wałęsa.
Her love life was very busy, she has gone through three marriages and had affective relations with James Mancham
(former president of the Seychelles), Kirk Douglas, Gianni Bulgari, Bettino Craxi and Luciano Martino, famous film producer disappeared in Kenya in 2013. Today Olga Bisera is completely dedicated to her work as a writer and she has
also authored many books, some awarded in literary competitions.
